Why should I Volunteer?
Volunteering provides active aid to animals who have been in a state of neglect. You can help animals and witness the beautiful process as they heal both physically and emotionally.

Volunteering as a interactive/Play volunteer or a jr volunteer can help children learn about animals and how to properly care for them and our environment. Researchers have found kids who are growing up with pets are not only more compassionate, but also more empathetic, have enhanced social skills, and higher self-esteem. Babies who grow up around dogs are less likely to suffer allergies, according to the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. Psychology Today reports that kids with ADD and ADHD benefit from having a pet in the house. Taking care of pets requires a strict schedule and lots of outdoor playtime, and sparks social interaction with peers, all of which are activities and skills that may manage ADD and ADHD behaviors. -https://www.hillspet.com/pet-care/resources/how-family-pets-benefit-kids
In addition physical interaction with animals is scientifically shown to be beneficial to a persons health. According to the CDC interacting with animals releases endorphins that lowers stress, decreases cholesterol levels, triglyceride levels, and reduces symptoms of sadness and depression. We will also sign off on community service hours. The hours served at our non profit organization are valid community service hours; These hours can be used as proof of community service that may be mandated by schools, or certain jobs.
