ADOPTION PROCESS
Adoption process
Each of our animals are unique and we must make sure they go into appropriate homes.
-
Take a look at our adoptable animals , read and learn about them.
-
Decide on the animal you are interested in adopting ( make sure you are prepared for a pet by going to How to Prepare for a New Pet )
-
Fill out the appropriate adoption application (above )
-
After submitting the application you will receive a confirmation e mail stating a successful completion of the application.
-
One of our members will review your application and will then contact you regarding the animal you wish to adopt.
We suggest that you first take a look at our How to Prepare for a New Pet
How To Prepare For A New Pet
Are You Ready To Adopt?

-
Talk with those you live with and make sure you agree about adopting a new pet

2. Make sure you are ready to accept the responsibility of owning a new pet
-
Provide affection, appropriate exercise and training. Daily change of food and water, daily walks or a litter box change at least 1-2 times a week.

3. Consider what type of pet would best suit you, your home, and your lifestyle.
-
Consider the size of your home is it best suited for a large or small dog?
-
Are you almost never home (maybe a low energy pet best suits your lifestyle)
-
Do you work from home? If so how many times a day can you provide exercise/play for your pet?
-
How often do you realistically plan on providing training?
-
Do you live with kids in the household, then you are perhaps looking for a patient and kid friendly pet.
-
Do you like to exercise or are you very active? A high energy dog or cat may interest you
